Changes…

I am not very good at making changes happen. I am a text book procrastinator and can never seem to find the right way or right time to ring the changes. Recently I have been battling with the monotony of singing the same songs and wonder how artistes with 40 year old songs keep singing them again and again for every gig. I have only been doing it for 10 years and am already thinking, surely they don’t want to hear this one again! Every time I do a show I always have requests for my own songs which I dont always do many of but lately I have been really enjoying the response from the audience and the amazing feedback given after the show, always asking for more of my own songs. Soo this year going forward I will endeavour to sing a few more of my songs and see how they are received. It is quite nerve wracking when you sing your own penned songs to new ears. You never know if they appreciate it or not. Oh well, time to change, watch this space
